Thanks for the information. Can you provide more information about the
fix or maybe a link to the bug report upstream? I was not able to find
it yet. Also, since Jaunty is still in Alpha and this seems completely
broken still, will the fix be backported to Jaunty's KDE 4.2?

Here is my output, I get exactly the same behaviour. I too have nvidia
hardware here, but I also get this problem on another machine with ATI
hardware, but I don't currently have access to that machine.
