I've seen this myself, and will make sure the patch is SRU'd to jaunty
and likely to hardy. Not sure about intrepid, jaunty will be released
this week anyway..

Problem also confirmed for me. No devices menu available within kstars.
Does kstars perhaps need to depend libindi0 rather than indi? The problem is
that libindi0 conflicts with indi:
Unpacking libindi0 (from .../libindi0_0.6-0ubuntu1_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/l
I believe the issue is Xinerama vs RANDR. Disabling Xinerama will
probably workaround the bug (at least it does on 9.04)

Hibernation is something different altogether. This is just about
Desktop Effects causing the password window to be hidden behind the
screensaver. This really shouldn't be an issue in KDE 4.1 (or KDE 4.2
for that matter) If it still is a problem in KDE 4.2 I'd recommend
filing a new report.
