In Kubuntu Jaunty, using a Logitech Access Keyboard, the left arrow
does nothing.
By specifying the Access keybd, this worked in Hardy and also in
Intrepid. Specifying the Access keybd in Jaunty does not work.
The left arrow works in a REAL console session and also works i
# dpkg --remove libplasma-dev
# apt-get -f install
seems to work... though the newest kdelibs5-dev should have Conflicted
with libplasma-dev, if this is the way to go, I think.

I'm running a local installation of Amarok, and I sometimes have sound
on KDE startup (4.2.3 btw), but on track change, out of the blue, the
soundcard switches to no sound card at all.

Sorry, I forgot to come back to it after I installed KDE 4.2. Unfortunately id
did not got better even a little. Kate is so slow, that it is impossible to
use. I switched to nedit. It lacks a lot of functionality, Has many bugs, but
at least works.
There is another interesting things. With KDE 4
This bug is most likely fixed in the development version of Ubuntu 9.10,
since K3b was upgraded to its KDE4 version. Unfortunately we don't
really know what's causing your bug with the KDE3 version in Kubuntu
8.10.
