Since I installed Kubuntu 9.04 I cannot connect to some networks that
worked before, no matter if they are WPA, WPA2 or WEP. I can connect to
others networks without a problem though. Why is that?
Also, as someone noted already, saving a network and then clicking on it
to connect to that network c
KDE 4.3 beta 1 isn't completely built or uploaded yet. kdebase-
workspace, kdebindings and kdepim for example are not yet packaged or
uploaded.
Try again tomorrow or the next day, and see how things are.

BTW - I worked around my issue by backleveling the kdelibs-bin package
yesterday. Today, after things were still way-broken, I had to
backlevel a lot of other packages (libplasma3, kdelibs5,
kdelibs5-data...) too.

Intrepid + Kde 4.2 from ppa worked fine on my hardware too. It *may* be
specific to Jaunty. I'm surprised we are only a few people to report it
although it happens systematically on my system as long as the session
stayed open 3-6 hours. I have seen reports from people with various
hardware configs

I works here! Now I can connect to the university's WPA2 Enterprise network w/
WPA-EAP PEAPv0 MSCHAPv2. I have an HP Pavillion dv9000t (Intel 3945 wireless
adapter).
It works for me in kubuntu 9.04 after updating the plasmoid using the
deb packages in Hermansson's ppa (as listed above). Even af
Yeah, errors like this suggest problems such as corrupted packages
(corrupted during download or something). Unfortunately there's really
nothing we can do on our end to fix this.

I can confirm this same bug for me. is there any fix out there?
HP4050 Laserjet w/ duplex and network card, attached to local net.
duplex works fine when print jobs sent from windows machines, but KDE
4.x/kubuntu 9.x recognized duplexer, but does not print double-sided.
looking for a solution!
