Same problem on 10.10. Nothing happens if yo don't put it a login/password and
if you do, it just fails and never connects.
Modem works fine with kppp

I did a bug report in the Dolphin package about this issue too
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kubuntu-
kde4-meta/+bug/730984) because I don't know if it's better to
applications support KIO SLAVES or DOLPHIN auto mount via CIFS remote
paths (samba, nfs, etc)...

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1 - Open a file in a remote path via KIO SLAVES SMB:// protocol in AMAROK for
the second time (when opened for the first time, AMAROK CAN OPEN IT, BUT CAN'T
SEEK IT)
2 - Amarok will show a lot of errors to the user, forcing him to delete the
file from the playlist...

im on kubuntu 10.10 using kubuntu backports. kde 4.6.1 , ksudoku version

im having the exact same behaviour, im unable to start a hard game.
i start ksudoku, choose the gamemode (usually normal 9x9 sudoku) , move
the difficulty slider to hardest, start the game, and "blam" got an
ultraeasy su
With little further testing, I produced this with NTFS filesystems on the disk
and today reproduced it with EXT4.
