It's working here too. I am having some Plasma crashes, but they are not dissimilar to what I experienced with 4.7.2 (so not a regression in my opinion). There are open bugs for the crash upstream and it's not new. The kmail2/akonadi/soprano/nepomuk stack is FAR better behaved for me than before
