If I try to install kile with the suggested packages, I encounter the
following error:
Package texlive-doc-base is not available, but is referred to by another
package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

Just tested cups 1.5.3-0ubuntu8.3 -> works as expected
So that problem introduced since cups 1.5.3-0ubuntu8.4
(I also experienced unstable system with this version, random crash in other
area)

Just tested fresh Kubuntu 12.04.4 and the problem not exist.
Then I found that problem triggered from cups 1.5.3-0ubuntu8.4 (latest
version currently)
Problem not occured if using:
# cups 1.5.3-0ubuntu8 (shipped with Kubuntu 12.04.4)
# cups 1.5.2-9ubuntu1 (precise)
