Could you try and install the dbgsym packages as indicated by

see if that allows you to generate backtraces?
And please do not use proposed repos on Vivid, this is not supported.

I'm currently running Kubuntu 15.04 updated with proposed repositories.
Konsole sometimes crashes (already reported that

Same problem on Asus Zenbook UX32VD, Kubuntu 14.10. I have to run this
each time I open my laptop from suspend:
