Hi
I've been told that this bug has been fixed in Plasma 5, and no more bug fixes
for the 4.x series will be released, could you please use Plasma 5 to get the
fix for this particular issue.
You will need to re-index your files though.
Cheers

Did the installer ask you for an OEM identifier at the beginning of the
installation? I've seen some cases already where it looks like you're
doing an OEM installation, but there are only few differences between
both OEM and a standard install, so the resulting installed system does

It took me a while to discover this myself, by inadvertently pressing it -
I then went through every KDE hot key setting and disabled them ALL .
I think the one I pressed is hidden in :
System Settings - Workspace Behaviour - Virtual Desktops - Switching Tab
There you see key stroke definitions

session unfreeze? Are you able to Alt-Tab and click the taskbar etc...??

Not konsole, but a terminal out of the graphical enviroment
(crtl+alt+Fn). When I return to Plasma 5 it remains frozen. I have
collectehad some traces from kwin after It gets frozen. I have attached
them in a file named traces.zip
