As the OP I like to thank the maintainers for fixing that bug in oxygen-
gtk3 so quickly. Many thanks for your work.
I would like to add that I now switched to Firefox ESR (from upstream)
in order to keep a pure GTK2 system until EOL of precise. Looks like a
viable alternative for me after all
All done now: http://www.ubuntu.com/usn/usn-2936-2/
Thanks!

Sorry to bother you again, but...
I tested to replace the single "super" OTC file with 7 weight specific
OTC files, and it seems like this is sufficient to fix "the Thin issue"
in Chrome/Chromium. So I have uploaded a simpler proposal to the PPA,
without the additional fonts-noto-cjk-extras
I am sorry. I am wearing way too many hats and it is really starting to
show.
All green now. I did as you suggested and put the dep versions in
control file rather than patch.

I upgraded to 16.04 and the file indexing was causing my whole PC to
suffer from temporary lockups. Even remote SSH logins wouldn't respond.
I have over 200GB of stuff in my home directory, and I've had problems
with file indexing ever since KDE introduced it. I've had to manually
disable it

Hi,
in similar fashion than for the systemd kcm module:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kde-config-systemd/+bug/1451295
the kcm_kamera.so
and also the kio_kamera.so
are installed in:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/plugins/, while the system expects them in:
Btw. the GUI error message is not very helpful, because it does say that
"a" shared library is missing, but not "which" file is missing.
