FYi, I'm using Tuxedo OS (22.04), and I purged my Kubuntu 23.10.
Haven't ran into this problem since, and my only 24.04 system is
Pop!_OS, and no issues there for me.
Something must've gotten screwed up, and was fixed with clean install, I
think.

Neither sftp protocol works on my system in Krusader neither Dolphin,
Kubuntu 24.10. Worked fine before upgrade to 24.10. Perhaps these
problems are related?

Sleep should not be enabled on a live session, at most it should prompt
if you want it enabled for this session, when you boot up a live session
you may be doing long unattended tasks such as copying several TB of
data (for example making a system backup before isntalling) on
