i think we need a complete syslog taken after reproducing a failed
connect attempt with widget plasma to get started.
From there we should file this bug upstream (kde) and let them help us
to fix this.

Yeah ... that wasnt the point. Everything whose preferred edit mode is
implemented through -edit-patch is far too complex and error prone for

adding adept. setting firefox 3 to wont fix. if you think adept shouldnt
add a hack for kde users thats fine. Its just nothing i will change in
firefox. not installing -gnome-support will make a bunch of features
disappear ... suggest is not good enough. similar to ubufox. its a core
ubuntu
as it simply best works with it ... - recommends. its more or less
essential to get a complete firefox experience ... not an optional
addon.
political - kde is an unusual install as they dont have the gnome libs.
we support that by not putting gnome stuff into firefox package, but in
a
adept should fix its install data then.
