I saw this bug in Kate and in Gwenview (and probably other KDE apps). Most
buttons had no icons at all for me. I had used Menta from MATE as icon theme.
The last comment fixed it. Particularly, selecting "Oxygen" as theme in "KDE
system settings" (step 3 above) helped.

I intended to remove the bookmarks manually from
../.kde/share/apps/kfileplaces/bookmarks.xml, but I was afraid to ruin
stuff. bookmarks.xml has grown to almost 200kB in my instance.

when I transfer an album to my 80GB Video iPod it does not create the
artwork.

I can confirm this bug in Ubuntu Dapper with another Tungsten E2. It
crashes at Blazer and deletes all of my Calendar entries - luckily I
have lots of backups.

see any kernel messages. Have you checked /var/log/kern.log to see if
