I installed Juk today. It doesn't play the Ubuntu example files, nor mp3 files
contained on a disk.
Ogg and MP3 formats are supported by juk.

I tried to run ocrad in kooka, it stalls.
>From the command line I called ocrad with the image in PNM format, it
works. (The output is not correct, but that's a point on the character
recognition on cursive letters, not the behaviour of the program
