+ After installation Kubuntu will not show a boot splash until update-grub is
triggered. Instaed it will display native tty output which not only looks bad
but can worry users for no good reason (such as bluetooth daemon startup saying
'fail'
I reckon it gets libass and friends :P

Essentially the cache of known applications/plugins/services was not updated.
This should usually happen automatically, albiet it can take a while (not more
than 1 minute though).
It is not uncommon with calligra. It may simply be because calligra has a
somewhat unique way of initializing the
