I use dual screen quite often but not always. This behavior is the same
for a single and a double screen. This is why I was reluctant to try
nouveau, which used to have a lot of issues with that configuration. So
far it works fine.

After the system was upgraded to Kubuntu 17.04, kile can no longer find
the okularpart library (it used to be in /usr/lib/kde4 and now it is in
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/). Without this library the
embedded viewer is not working.
I tried installing kile from ppa:c
I installed it about an hour ago (needless to say, there is no package
for Fedora yet). Akonadi started seamlessly after a reboot.
