me too. i've run into this problem (i've an hp laserjet 1000). with breezy was all right. with "foomatic-cleanupdrivers" the problem is solved... that is: it installs the printer, but it prints anything... damned hp -- Can't add a printer in KDE: parser error? https://launchpad.net/bugs/42965
