This bug is present when installing supplémentary packages and detecting
an nvidia card on 22.04.2.
Here is a workaround we use that sometime works :

After "sign out" from guest account, there are three guest account
buttons on the kdm login screen. After a reboot everything is normal
(only one guest account button).

I enabled this, but it doesn't seem to work. I can look at the warning-triangle

because I never got root privileges. Now you say that you can't install
a printer even though you got the red border... depending on whether or
not you actually obtained root privileges, that would be a bug too.

When booting the live cd it doesnt autodetect or promt me for my
keyboard, therefore It doesnt print the same chars as I push on the
keyboard

actually I think its two different issues. Its working fine for me in the new

If you do a
apt-cache show xserver-xorg-driver-i810
it explicitly states that i945 is supported. But it doesnt work, ergo its a
bug.
Please return the bug to the former state

I see when I look at the xserver-xorg-driver-i810 package that it is the
supposed correct driver, but then it must mean that there is a bug in it, or
what?
Does anyone know what the issue might be?

I must say I dont know anything about this package, but my initial answer must
be YES.
If people experience that their computer wont even display the right screen
resolution they will get a bad first-impression of linux and that is very hard
to change. We dont want that.

I tried to install again, but with the /dev/hda unplugged, and it
worked. So problem is apparently only if I install with my /dev/hda
plugged in. I will try to see if I can get the same result again.
