I have very stange things after upgrading to Fedora 37. On Fedora 36 I
had troubles after waking up displays from power save mode, such as
loosing positions of windows, panels and widgets. After upgrading to 37
my middle display, connected to DP, won't start at all after powersave
and I have massiv

I have this bug too.
2 possible workarounds for me, but no one is perfect:
- disabling 3D acceleration if running Ubuntu 16.04 as guest in VirtualBox
- starting qtcreator as Marius (#5) suggests: qtcreator -noload Welcome

It also affects my system. Intel Core 2 Quad, nVidia GT 740, Kubuntu
16.04, Plasma 5.5.5, Qt 5.5.1, it happens a few months already, since
15.10, I think.

As is the case with all packages depending on v5 ABI for libstdc++, the

Just discovered that this bug also affects NVidia cards. The screensaver
itself never shows up, but its process silently runs in the background,
even after the screen is ulocked.

Well, for now the only possible solution I see is to try to downgrade
the kde packages to some previous version. Due to this bug I actually
stopped installing all updates on my home laptop since December and
until I find it is fixed (or until next Ubuntu release is issued in
April).

Then I am marking kde-workspace-bin package because KDE keyboard
configuration tool is there. However I cannot check this for sure, since
all KDE packages are mutually dependent and cannot be tested separately.

I have this problem with K3b 2 (see versions below). I set the writing speed to
4x, but it writes DVD-R at 12x. "k3b" uses "cdrkit" for writing.
k3b 2.0.2-4
cdrkit 1.1.11-2
kdebase-runtime 4.7.4-1
