I installed kdevelop from the ubuntu repositories, but it fails to
start.
Running from the command line shows:

Both my laptop and desktop had kdm running on maverick, and on upgrading
to natty, when choosing the Ubuntu session I got logged in but with no
UI shell (as far as I could tell). I had compiz running, but no window

Binary package hint: kdepim
Kontact has crashed for me almost a dozen times today. Just started
today.
I updated to the kde 4.3 backports for Jaunty in the hope that it fixed
the problem, but no.
A bug has been filed on the kde bug tracker with the stacktrace.
$
I've found that if I export BROWSER=firefox, then the python module
doesn't use kfmclient :)
