this bug is striking back, here on Mint KDE 18 (based on ubuntu 16.04).
I set mouse speed in the KDE settings, apply => OK
I unplug/plug again the mouse => settings are back to default, the new ones are
not applied.

The paths given by kf5-config --path qtplugins
have a wrong trailing "/plugins", see
~$ kf5-config --path qtplugins
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/plugins/:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/plugins/
these paths don't exist, only these do:

it used to work in Kubuntu 15.04
and stopped working after I upgraded to 15.10
Strangely enough, it works when I try a live Kubuntu 15.10 system on a
USD drive, on the same laptop
I haven't found any workaround yet

* virtuoso-t is regularly eating 100% of one of my CPUs each time I do
something with kmail... had to stop using kmail
* even without kmail, virtuoso-t uses 435 Mo of RAM, even though it seems to do
nothing
(and in the systemsettings I

this is a typical virtuoso-t burst when kmail is open (and I do nothing)
