Ok, seems that my system automatically set up a system-wide proxy server when I was using a SOCKS proxy with firefox through SSH. I have disabled this proxy setting and I so I rescind this bugreport. -- Update podcast fails https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/498385 You received this bug
