The problem remains after upgrading to KDE 4.3 beta 1 on Jaunty. What
about switching QCA2 to newer version. Is there any reason for still
using the old (probably buggy version)? Or do you think that changes
between 2.0.0 and 2.0.2 are not related to this bug?

And what about the kwin bug 'dm' is talking about? (dm, could you please
provide bug number?) Isn't it possible that Ubuntu team compiled 4.2.2
and marked it 4.2.3? Cause AFAIK what apt-policy says is not really KWin
version number but it is .deb package version number that the packager
provided.
I'm not sure how much is this information useful, but problem remains
after upgrade to KDE 4.2.3 and Qt 4.5.1.
As for QCA2, I can see theat in upstream, there is already version
2.0.2, while in Ubuntu, there is 2.0.0 for very long time (since Hardy).
Would you consider updating Jaunty's version of

I have tried Amarok 2.1 beta from unofficial repository kubuntu-
experimental (line for sources.list: "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net
/kubuntu-experimental/ubuntu jaunty main") and the problem is fixed
there.
