Unity Dash doesn't recognize Ubuntu SDK as an
This is now fixed in lp:qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu, but not yet uploaded to
saucy.
So when using the SDK Release PPA, which equals to what we will have
after the next upload, 'Ubuntu SDK' if found via both Software Center
manually and on the Applications lens in Dash. When installed via Dash,

Having the need to install it on a new machine I noticed Unity Dash on
the desktop doesn't consider Ubuntu SDK as an available application. I
can only see QtCreator and it won't pull in the Ubuntu components plugin
either.
I would expect that typing Ubuntu SDK
I don't know the details of how SC works / gets the list of installable apps,
but something in this equation probably matters:
- qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu is the package that ships ubuntu-sdk.desktop (name
Ubuntu SDK, executes qtcreator)
- qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu, even if it would be installable,
