It is not anymore in Kubuntu 8.10
Besides, skanlite is the current state-of-art of scanning in KDE (i.e.
pretty new, missing billions of features but a lot potential).

Kooka was removed from KDE 4, so I'll mark this bug as won't fix. I am
sure a better application, filling the gap of a scan application will
appear soon and have this issue fixed.
Eitherway I also want to let you know that we, the Kubuntu team, really
