The bug fix in LP: #1969984 was a complete theme change, not a simple
movement of the logo even though it appears that way. It was the only
way to accommodate Plymouth operating on multiple monitors of different
resolutions per that bug report. Hence the "won't fix".

The change works but the UEFI-based ACPI logo feels redundant.
As the logo already appears at the Bios startup.
Would not be better just to add the Kubuntu logo instead of the UEFI-based ACPI
logo?

This is expected behavior as it accommodates a UEFI-based ACPI logo on
