I have the same problem in my Dapper RC
My config :
Computer : a acaer TravelMate 8104WLMi Laptop
kernel : 2.6.15-23-686
k3b : 0.12.14
I can't burn CD error in /dev/scd0 permissions ?? ( i have a good group
burning 'cdrom' )
I can Erase CD-RW ,only on root
I can burn DVD.

I had the same problem, k3bsetup2 and chmod 4750 didn't solve the
problem because there was another /dev/sg entry with bad permissions.
k3bsetup didn't detect this entry:
crw-rw 1 root root 21, 0 2006-06-09 20:10 /dev/sg0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root cdrom 21, 1 2006-06-09 20:10 /dev/sg1
Then, doing cd
Hi, me again, I only wan to notice that delete /dev/sg0 only solves the
problem until next boot, the file is created again. I can change file
permissions too, but it returns to default in next boot too. Somebody
knows how to set the group of this file for every boot?
