I have a fix committed for a similar bug to Marmule's. If this still
persists with 0.7.1 (once it's in the archives), please open another
bug. This one definitely is dealt with, and as Luka says, it creates
confusion.

If TwinView is not supported, it should lock out the xorg.conf setup
stuff. That's fine.
But the DPMS display shut-off timer is still on that page, and it's
pretty independent of TwinView. They should still be able to change
those settings.
