to be changed..note that the date text might also run into the logo at

Edgy beta is much better in this regard, but due to large font,
username/password input fields overlap the enter icon on right. See
attachement.

This is maybe duplicate of bug 37072 if you use nvida-glx. I have the
same with my Dell Latitude D800 1920x1200.
