Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase

Steps to reproduce:
1. Put CD into drive.
2. When the KDE Daemon asks if you would like to do something, choose cancel
(DON'T choose "do nothing", that won't reproduce the bug)
3. There will be no CD icon on the desktop

Mounting should still occur regardless of what the user clicks. Mounting
should occur and the icon should appear once the CD is inserted, not
after the user chooses an option in the dialog. As it is if the user
clicks cancel to get out of the dialog, they have no obvious way to
access the contents of the CD later. It's also confusing this way
because if the user misses the popup dialog and just looks for the CD
icon on their desktop they won't find one (since it doesn't appear until
an option besides cancel is chosen in the dialog).

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
