Unfortunately it's not that simple. All legacy full-screen Plymouth themes are affected by this bug. In order to work correctly, the Plymouth theme is now relying on an existing parent theme as plymouth- theme-ubuntu and plymouth-theme-ubuntustudio: plymouth-theme-spinner. This parent theme relies

To what extent is this a minimal change to fix the issue? I'm unfamiliar with Plymouth scripting, but wouldn't it be simpler to fix the existing theme than to wholesale replace it? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to

Public bug reported: At 22.04 it appears that konsole will remember its last start position. This means that if you want to start, say, 3 konsoles they will now sit on top of each other, hiding how many there are. At 21.10 and earlier they would start up non-overlapped (if possible).

Those are good points. I'm a bit baffled that this was not noticed by other users of xdg-settings earlier. Maybe KDE users don't usually rely on it? I'll file an upstream bug. ** Bug watch added: gitlab.freedesktop.org/xdg/xdg-utils/-/issues #10
