Still the biggest difference is probably that on VPS you would have
access to multiple user accounts and more people who can access it
using their own accounts.
And you could have more of a shell server.
Then you could turn it into a shell host for Kubuntu

The problem is that it is another machine to administer in your mind.
I have a website host myself, it is easy, all I need to do is take
care of my own files, nothing more.
With a VPS you run the entire system yourself. You need to think about
what software to use, etc. Of course it can be

IMHO the vps is too much. We don't need the hassle. We need web hosting
