Hi all,
does 14.04 already support Nvidia OPTIMUS? As far as I know, the drivers
from nvidia are ready, but do we have a proper X and RandR versions?

driver with OPTIMUS support. If you create packages for
13.04 i can test it. Am running DELL XPS 15z with OPTIMUS.

Hey i want to propose a new lightdm theme and a kplash theme to fit with
the ldm for Kubuntu. We were working on this with Harald, but it still
needs some love. What do you think. Can we change upstream artwork or is
this rule hard to change?
This is how it looks like:
http://madsheytan.blogspot
But people from all over the world do know english. Not every Single One
but lots. Of course we can add subtitles. ;)

I like it. Aurélien, please take a look at this too:

I've done some mockups on the WiFi and avatar config UI.

We can leave the browser topic by now. I think everyone who wants to try
out Kubuntu already know how to visit google.com and hit the "GET CHROME "
button. We need to concentrate on look&feel. So:
-create a new background for installer, lightdm & splash.
-create a user friendly KCM to turn on loca
This looks nice indeed. Will give it a try.

I'm glad to hear that someone's working on the other stuff i mention.

Please stay tuned.

Even if, we can make a Browser choice page which will be the first one
opened in rekonq or add Browser choice to installer.

Finally someone else nitced it! Here's what i propose:
-change the default /home folder icons (music, doc, etc) -add avatar and
wifi connecting support to installer -add KDEWEB accounts, run it on the
first kubuntu start after installation -add notification-helper for kipi
plugins (first gwenview
I will do at home some mockups of some little changes that might help
Kubuntu look and fell even more cool than OSX :)
