Hi,

I have some questions about kvm-70:

1. Can I use it without doing "make install" ? I don't want it to
clash with my kvm ubuntu package.
I plan to manually insmod its modules and then manually run
qemu-system-x86_64.
2. qemu-system-x86_64 is created in the x86_64-softmmu folder. What
does the softmmu mean ?
3. I noticed that kvm-70 is slower than the ubuntu kvm package. Any idea why ?
4. Why can't I use both -snapshot and -loadvm args ? These don't work
together, and I do want a volatile execution based on a vm state saved
earlier.
5. Does --with-patched-kernel mean that the kvm modules will not be
created ? Or it just means that make will look for kernel header files
from the local host ?
6. I noticed people use the -no-acpi switch. In what cases should I
use it ? I look for stability, squeezing performance is not important
to me.

Thank you all,
Slohm
