Hi,
After installing kvm-36, existing solaris 10 vm would crash during
booting up. New installation crashes also. With interactive GUI
installation, the vm would hang after X server comes up before language
can be selected. Mouse cursor would be stuck and without response. With
interactive text c
Hi,
Thanks guys. I'm trying Fedora 7 again. I tried to update kvm to the
latest, but configure complains about not finding gcc version 3. Is gcc 3
necessary to build kvm?
Thanks,

Hi Anthony,
I think passing only the directory name is better because it can be like a
"black box" : the user don't have to know how it is inside. And it is much
more simple to use "qemu my_pc" than "qemu -c my_pc/config".

It makes little sense to pass a directory when you can pass a config
file and assume that the directory the config file is in is the CWD.
For instance, if vm.cfg contained just the command line arguments, you
could have:
MyImage/vm.cfg:-hda disk0.qcow -m 512
MyImage/disk0.qcow:

Hi all,
The last time this issue was discussed, the executable-directory idea
gained more consensus than the snapshot-based idea. This patch
implements my perception of the first idea. Non-Windows for now, as I
can't test on a Windows system. Suggestions and constructive criticism

Hi,
We have had several reports of users saying our product VirtualBox
crashes their (Linux) host. It turned out that KVM is responsible, because
it leaves the CPU in VMX root mode.
Doing this changes the way the cpu operates: updates to reserved bits in
control registers cause general protecti
