The BIOS loads the CD-ROM, then the kernel is loaded, then the kernel loads it's own CD-ROM driver, which doesn't finds the CD-ROM. Actually, in the middle of init procedure CD-ROM becomes inaccessible. Platform: Fedora 7, 64-bit, AMD64. The same problem occur with -no-kvm.
