December Action Items

We thought we won on November 7th!

What
we forgot is that George Bush is still holding the reins to foreign
policy and that his rubber-stamp Congress is still in session!

Far
from being a Do-Nothing Congress, they are a Do-Evil Congress, and they
have been very busy. Already they passed the Nukes for Mangos bill
which will accelerate the nuclear race, and the AETA act which claims
animal rights activists are “terrorists”! http://noaeta.org/whyoppose.htm

And they are about to give a free pass to Robert Gates- liar extraordinaire of
the Reagan era to continue to]

confabulate with Bush and Cheney.

We must pressure our representatives to stop the toxic Bush agenda!

So
please forgive the barrage of petitions being offered here, but they
are all equally critical and I ask you to do as many of them as you can
handle. Since you are busy, I have cornered them all here for you:

war-mongering? This man should not be trusted! Why should we be saddled
with him? Didn't the American people make it clear we want accountable
and responsible human beings in control? You can read about Robert
Gates and the danger posed to
Americans by this nominee at these links:
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article15790.htm

http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/20061108_robert_scheer_gates_explaining/
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/111106A.shtml and this from the past:
http://www.rense.com/general74/gagy.htm Considering his ties and conflict of
interest- Gates will work for Halliburton, not for us:
