Hello, I hope all is well for you and your loved ones in every realm of life. I'm sending this reminder to supplement the many posters you may have seen regarding " Yoga Psychology" presentation this afternoon at 6pm in Ackerman Union.
In the hearts and minds of the people you teach, the people you lead, those you counsel, and of course those you love there's an innate knowing that many may not tap into or seldom do, if at all, while in your greater wisdom you know it's there and you may have seen it engaged before, if but only it could be accessed now -- moments of synergy and greater rapport with self and world, giving it a spin. Yoga raises the plateau from which our body, heart and conscious and subconscious mind operates, a plateau of subtler realms made more conscious and operative in daily life through the proactive engagement of yoga practices. And for you and your students, yoga can greatly improve intelligence, learning capabilities and comprehension as well as compassion, and greater capacities to articulate either. We're not talking about tying your limbs into knots in pursuit of liberation, nor bopping airhead chanting of do-re-mi for a whole lot of dough -- we're talking about yoga psychology , ancient, seasoned, tried and practical and modernized for contemporary life. We will discuss layers of mind untapped by Western psychology -- their constituent factors and the subtle psychic exercises yoga provides to both clean, heal and potentize the conscious and subconscious mind's capabilities and make them more accessible in everyday life. This presentation is introductory, free, and does not involve joining a sect nor taking sides on any intellectual dualities. Yoga is a practical psychic science, available regardless of cultural affinities. We will meet today in room 2048, next to the grand ballroom, starting at 6pm. You're welcome to come, just bring your sincerity, magnanimity and maybe a notebook, I anticipate seeing you in positive ways. And of these lessons integrated into their life, moral conscience is the most imperative to learn and convey to others. Their virtues give true meaning to education.
