*Caracas, 07 Mar. AVN.- So far 33 heads of state and government of Africa,
Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean have confirmed their attendance to
accompany the Venezuelan people for the memorial service of the Bolivarian
Revolution leader, Hugo Chavez, said Thursday the Minister for Foreign
Affairs, Elias Jaua.*

*Among those expected to attend will be 54 high-level delegations, the
Prince of Asturias, Felipe of Borbon, and six foreign ministers as well as
representatives of the Latin American Integration Association (Aladi), the
Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), the Southern Common Market
(Mercosur) and the Organization of American States (OAS).*

*In statements to the state-run channel VTV, from Simon Bolivar
International Airport in Maiquetia (Vargas state), the Chancellor found
that the arrival of most of delegations will be from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.*

*Jaua stressed that the presence of international leaders is an example "of
the magnitude of affection and love that the commander Hugo Chavez, not
only managed to personally cultivate great friendships, but also a love for
the people of Bolivar" as well as "a recognition of the weight, of the
importance of political leadership of President Chavez, who left us as
legacy for Venezuelans."*

*He said the National Executive has received 42 notes of condolences and
recalled that 15 countries declared days of national mourning for the death
of President Chavez; among them Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, Chile, Cuba,
China, Ecuador, Haiti, Peru, Dominican Republic, the Sahrawi Arab
Democratic Republic and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, which declared
three days of mourning.*

*Likewise did Bolivia, Nicaragua and Nigeria which agreed seven days, while
Iran decreed a day.*

*The Chancellor said that this action constitutes a "rare thing when it
comes to a figure that does not belong to this country."*

*Already present in Venezuela are Argentina's Cristina Fernandez, Uruguay's
Jose Mujica, Bolivia's Evo Morales, Cuba's Raul Castro, Brazil's Dilma
Rousseff, who arrived in the country in the company of former President
Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, and the Head of State of Equatorial Guinea,
Teodoro Obiang.*

*March 7, 2013. - The Acting President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro
announced that the body of the late President Hugo Chavez, will be moved to
its first resting place in the Bolivarian Revolution Museum (Old Museum
Military Hostórico) , in the La Plain urbanization January 23, which will
remain for seven days so that people can give their farewell. The site,
located near the Miraflores Palace in Caracas, is emblematic for being
command center used by Chavez during the rebellion of February 4, 1992. Maduro
also said the Commander Chavez will be embalmed and placed in a glass case,
as the revolutionary Vladimir Lenin and Ho Chi Minn.
