 Al-Manna` <http://angryarab.blogspot.com/2012/01/al-manna.html>
*After Haytham Al-Manna` (the courageous Syrian dissident) signed the
agreement with Burhan Ghalyun, he has been vilified by Syrian March 14
intellectuals. I could not believe the venom of such attacks. I have not
seen such Stalinist dogmatic intolerance in political rhetoric since I last
read the mouthpiece of Hariri family in Lebanon. March 14 of Syria
(dominated by religious reactionaries and their liberal lackeys) clearly
offer us another version of the Ba`th rule. The Syrian people deserve
better: neither the Asad dynasty, nor the Syrian National Council and their
intellectual goons.*

  Looking
Heavenward!<http://syrianrevolutiondigest.blogspot.com/2012/01/looking-heavenward.html>
*Arab League Monitors have become part of the décor, just like the tanks
and armored vehicles, part of the everyday happenings, just like the
arbitrary killings and detentions, part of the same indifference that world
leaders keep exhibiting. Meanwhile the Assads can count on the support of
the Iranians, Russians, Chinese and Hezbollah, but the protesters can only
rely on themselves, or as they often put it in their chants, “God.”*

Syrian officials are under tight watch making it difficult for them to
defect, but, he asserted, most of them want to defect.
