I have used polyester thread , and used a polycotton, or polyester thread for the Dress cap, as featured on the cover of a Barbara Underwood book. As my hair is white, I did not want to make a white cap, so used the polycotton in Navy to make it. It never needs ironing! (Beauty!!) the thread
