Below is part of an email I received today regarding a lace exhibit at Tinker
Swiss Cottage in Rockford. This is one of the places on the Rockford tour on
Wednesday. I have no idea what this exhibition wll be like but thought I would
pass on the information to those of you who were
I googled Tinker Swiss Cottage and visited their website - impressive
house. Looking forward to any reports of their lace exhibit; comment
on the beautiful solid wood staircase - shown in the photo gallery -
also welcome.

I am looking for the website that has a lace pricking on it (for a section of
a christmas tree garland?) - lacemakers could take part in a sponsorship with
proceeds going to charity?
does this trigger a memory? I know this was discussed recently, but my mind
has gone blank, I don't even know
The elusive little grey rabbit has at last been found hiding amongst
bigger lace books. Knowing the colour of spine to look for really helped a
lot - even so it took several attempts as it was not where it should have
been at all! Thank you for your help
