I am seeing Bridget tomorrow so if you like I will take the book and ask her,
then report back. For myself I'd put money on whirlpools, to match the ones
worked over 6 plaits at her shoulders.

Don't know about Czech, but kopiec means mound in Polish.
I have worked out a diagram to do the filling of the face of the
Vyatskii doll, and written instructions in 26 steps g using the
weaver pair and edge pair of the tape. The diagram is true to the
photograph of the lace. If anyone has this pattern and would like my
