vacations there and found some delightful hotels / guest houses with
excellent food. I have not stayed in Tønder though. Try googling for inns or
kros near Tønder. (Kro is the Danish word for inn, and they tend to have a

The Metro Chapter of IOLI, based in Bergen County, New Jersey, is having our
21st lace day this coming weekend, November 7 and 8th. Location is the same
as previous years - the Elks BPO Westwood Lodge, 505 Kinderkamack Road,
Westwood, NJ.

Oh dear, I enjoyed Francis's message. I went to Tonder, I think it was 2004.
My accommodations, arranged by the local tourist office, were in a shoe
manufacturer's conference center. It was located in a cow field a good 45
minute walk from the town center and the festival, and I was on foot. On
I went to Tonder two or three years ago. Not at festival time:-( but
nevertheless it ws worth the detour. We were with a caravan and I dont
remember the showers on the campsite were that bad (in the south of France I
once had a much worse experience, you had to pull a chain so had just one
hand

if you google Tonder, Danmark you will find also a list of hotels and
a map that you could see which hotels are near the city.
There are enough hotels nearby the museum and the places with the
exhibitions.
