This time I found a German bobbin lace website, and one page of pictures was of modern work, in a similar vein to Ilske's http://www.kreuzen-drehen.at/zweckfr/zweckfr.php But it is worth clicking on all the links on the right side of the page, they are collections of various kinds of bobbin lace.

Here is the url http://www.muzeumtatrzanskie.com.pl/?strona,doc,pol,glownaen,1426,0,306,1,142 6,ant.html The problem is that the url was too long and got separated into 2 lines. This should work. The lace photos are near the bottom of that web page. Click on the image and you will see a large

Devon No, you aren't having senior moment. The text does specify bobbin lace, but the two pictures are needlelace. Only the middle one is bobbin lace. Ah well, we can't expect tourism promoters to be lace experts (but it would be nice). Lorelei - To unsubscribe send email to majord...@arachne.c

The link worked for me w/o the broken remainder, and not with it.  Interesting. One could always to go www.tinyurl.com and make longer links smaller by cutting and pasting the original url into the window.  You can even choose a name to describe/identify it, and it takes less than a minute. Thank
