available direct from her:
Threads for Lace, Edition 5 by Brenda Paternoster
Couldn't agree more, Brenda's book is a 'must have'

I would like to share with you my own experience on the subject.
When in 2004 I first published the first of 3 books on Hinojosa Lace

HI Jen,
I would agree with Bev in her message below. Do the windmill crossing but

Hello spiders
A couple of years ago a friend gave me samples of all the Empress Mills 100%
cottons which she had in her stash. The measurements were:
60s (white) 3Z 32 w/cm 60s (ecru) 3Z 31 w/cm
50s (white) 3Z 29 w/cm 50s (ecru) 3Z 27 w/cm
40s (white) 3Z 27 w/cm 40s (ecru) 3Z 26 w/cm
.There are three large point de Venise lace panels in my own
collection, for which I have much information, but not as to their place of
origin. The style is somewhat like the lace in the July 1976 IOLI bulletin
- floral, Art Nouveau-ish - surrounding a reproduction (in finer
thread)
