What a wonderful idea and sounds lovely. Now I could see me wearing one as
a scarf with some of my tops:-) Oh dear another one on my wish I had more
lace time, LOL. One day. There is a magic phrase I have heard some of you
use to describe these projects and I cant think what it is, <grin>

I use a lappet as a decorative scarf. Tuck the middle under a jacket
collar and have the ends hang down each side in front. I like to wear the
black one on a red jacket. However, at IOLI conference I have been known
to wear lappets on my head... a different one each day. It was a fun way
to use some of my antique lappet collection. By the end of the week,
there were some other brave souls also wearing lappets.
