Italy is very similar. I went to Val

associated with lace. Gwynedd is quite correct, but you will note that the

lady uses "crochet" when actually describing a very fine lace - a lace that
would never answer to that term. Language!

Gwynedd came to Norfolk Lacemakers lace day this year as our speaker, what a
lovely knowledgable lady, we overran on her time but could have listened for
another hour. She brought some beautiful lace and a few got to wear some
