I was reading the lace sections in an 1894 "Barbour's Prize Needle-Work
Series", and came across this authoritative paragraph, which I enjoyed and
thought others might also:

"This work, known also as 'pillow' and 'cushion' lace, we are glad to be

I found when tidying my lace library that I have two copies of " New Patterns
in Honiton Lace", by Caroline and Barry Biggins. This is a completely unused
copy of the 2002 edition that I am selling. It does have my name written on
