Hi Devon There are a couple of Pathe News videos on YouTube. This one is bobbin lace making from 1931: http://www.britishpathe.com/video/lace-of-long-ago. Here is one from 1929 that shows tambour lace: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf9pmm7Yk78. Not sure how you would get a license to use them.

Dear Susie,   Agreed.  There is too much personal information in the Handbook for it to be accessed by computer, even by members.    Some people share computers with family (all ages and agendas), and some use computers at work or in libraries and schools. It is too easy to absent-mindedly

Further to Jane's email regarding The Lace Guild electronic membership, e-Lace is not sent as a pdf, there is an e-members only section of the website where the e-magazine is accessed. I would echo Jane's call for patterns, articles, photos etc., etc.; publications can't survive without them.
